What is the difference between a student workshop and a teacher/parent workshop?

Good question!

Typically a student's workshop is meant to prepare the student for future LTW study. The workshop leader will introduce the parts and logic of the program to the students and will teach them the foundational skills that will enable them succeed when they do begin studying the program in the classroom or homeschool setting.

On the other hand, the teacher/parent event is meant to show the teacher/parent how to teach the program. As in a student's event, the workshop leader will introduce and explain the parts and logic of the curriculum, but he or she will also provide reveal how to approach Mimetic teaching, assessment, and many other aspects that are unique to the teaching experience.

Please note: in both cases, we can present workshops for more advanced users, whether advanced students or experienced teachers, who wish to dive deeper.
